제주도 서귀포에 있는
쇠소깍을 아는가
그냥 가보지 않고는
무어라 말하기엔
너무 어렵게 셈하며
사는 것 같다  

한라산에서 흘러내린  
자연하천이 명승으로 지정되어
전통배 태우를 타고
구경하는
제주도 서귀포에
가볼만한 곳이 아닌가
싶다

해수와 담수가
서로 인연을 맺고
손을 잡으니
깊은 물웅덩이와
사랑을 나누는
기암괴석이
눈을 뜨고 보기에는
너무 아름다운
비경이
나를 달랜다

멀리서 불어오는
바람 소리에도
소를 닮은 하천의 끝이라고
말하는
쇠소깍을
가보지 않고는
즐겨볼 수가 없구나.
