Here at the Resource Alliance we are very excited about the IFC, coming up from 16-19 October in the Netherlands. We're all very busy working hard to make sure this year's Congress is our best ever!
The IFC is the largest and most diverse gathering of fundraisers and presenters on the planet. It's where the brightest fundraising minds come to learn and participate in a global ideas exchange that truly inspires and challenges your thinking.
Brand new, internationally renowned speakers will be introduced this year and we’ll also be inviting back some of the best speakers from recent IFCs. Plus, we'll be introducing sessions that offer you brand new perspectives from outside the fundraising sector!
Some of the world's leading INGOs and NGOs attending this year, include Red Cross, Greenpeace, Médecins Sans Frontières, Save the Children, UNICEF, WaterAid, WWF, Finn Church Aid, Guide Dogs, Age UK, RNIB, Norwegian Cancer Society, ActionAid, Amnesty International,Barnardos Australia, Bermuda Red Cross, BirdLife Netherlands, Breast Cancer Campaign, British Red Cross, WSPA and many more....

IWRM Asia inspires fundraisers across Asia |

From 3-6 July 2012, the International Workshop on Resource Mobilisation (IWRM) Asia 2012 brought together over 120 delegates and a host of expert speakers in Malaysia for four days of comprehensive training in all aspects of resource mobilisation and sustainable fundraising techniques.
Highlights from the Workshops included an entertaining yet informative opening address from Jack Sim, founder of the World Toilet Organization (WTO). We were honoured to welcome HRH Princess Azizah Iskander of Malaysia to close the IWRM with an inspirational exploration of the wide range of social and charitable causes with which she is involved in.

Our work in philanthropy |
|
|
We’re pleased to announce two more events linked to our aim of inspiring philanthropy worldwide
World of Philanthropy – Present and Future
As the final phase of the Bellagio Initiative, the Resource Alliance is hosting a forum on the world of philanthropy, immediately prior to the IFC on 15-16 October.
The forum will bring senior fundraisers from international NGOs into our discussions and connect them with heads and directors of CSR from large corporates; high net worth individuals, representatives from trusts and foundations, private wealth advisors; and representatives from bilateral and multilateral agencies. This global group will explore key questions affecting philanthropy today and in the future.
Although attendance at the Forum is by invitation only, you can still follow the conversations and share your own thoughts on the topics being discussed via our blog and Twitter @TheResAlliance

Philanthropy in India: Motivations and Barriers
The Resource Alliance hosted a panel discussion on Philanthropy in India on 17 August at the India Habitat Centre, Delhi. The discussion brought together a range of individuals from the fundraising and philanthropy sector and included panellists from a large international foundation, a local private foundation, a major donor, and a middle class donor.
