The Resource Alliance Global Awards for fundraising
Following the success of the inaugural Global Awards at the IFC in 2010, the 2011 awards saw the number of countries submitting entries, double. The range of winners was truly global, with Uganda, Germany, Ireland and Australia all picking up awards.
We are looking forward to an even greater number of countries participating in 2012. In order to facilitate this we have developed a ‘How-To-Guide’ to support national fundraising associations wishing to set up a national fundraising awards programme, which is available to download from our website.

The process included a series of consultation meetings with practitioners from around the world, a
global philanthropy mapping document and several white papers from a range of authors on relevant issues. The final Bellagio Summit was held in November at the Rockefeller’s Bellagio Centre in Italy.
