How to use social media for advocacy and fundraising? by Hernan Nadal - this session will focus on showing examples of using social media to grow exponentially the visibility and results of your organisation on the Internet. Hernan will share the best examples of several successful Greenpeace campaigns that mobilised thousands of cyberactivists via Facebook and Twitter. You will also learn how to design and implement an integrated strategy of public mobilisation, involvement and fundraising. How to make charity worth talking about? by Noam Kostucki - how can your organisation create 'viral campaigns' that become the subject of conversation in the office and around the dinner table? The solution is to use the eight engines of conversational capital. This session will break down the eight steps that make an ‘experience’ worth talking about. Explore what your charity needs to do at every point of contact with your target audience to build-in elements that encourage natural conversation both online and offline and thus creating a fuller experience.
