In an e-mail fundraising appeal prepared by Donordigital, Executive Director Anthony D. Romero told supporters, "When the President secretly authorized the National Security Agency to spy on Americans, he broke the law and violated the Constitution. The question is what are you and I going to do about it? At the ACLU, we are speaking out and fighting back. Will you join us?" On Tuesday, the civil liberties organization filed ACLU v. NSA, a lawsuit seeking an end to the secret program of illegal electronic surveillance authorized by President Bush. Find out more and take action here!
