Dear Ohdeuk Kwon,
If you live in the United States or Canada, you’ll have the opportunity to participate in an online workshop with me. “Surviving the Minefield of Direct Mail Fundraising Today” will be held at 2:00 pm Eastern Daylight Time, Thursday, June 28. I hope you’ll join me then.
This is the first in a series of Webinars offered in North America by the London-based Resource Alliance, organizer of the annual International Fundraising Congress (IFC) in Holland. Proceeds will benefit the global program of the Resource Alliance — fundraising courses, workshops, conferences, awards, and consulting services to help build civil society in the developing nations of the Global South.
To present these workshops, Resource Alliance is teaming up with the U.S. Webinar provider Forum for Fundraising and the ePhilanthropy Foundation to feature some of the most popular presenters at the IFC in sessions designed expressly for a North American audience.
If you register for my session on "Surviving the Minefield of Direct Mail Fundraising Today" before June 14, the fee is $179.95. It's $199.95 after that. Click here for registration.
The second IFC Webinar will be held July 17, with legacy fundraising authority Richard Radcliffe speaking on "Making Legacy Giving Dead Easy." Consultant Tony Elischer and other popular IFC speakers will conduct subsequent Webinars, some of them live from the IFC in October. Stay tuned for further bulletins! Webinar technology uses both an online connection and a telephone conference call. This permits you and those who join you in your office to view the presenter’s slideshow live over the World Wide Web while listening to the presentation by telephone. You may interact with the presenter almost as though you were in the same room.
Forum for Fundraising will host the live Webinars. Afterwards, the sessions will be posted on the ePhilanthropy Foundation Web site, where they may be downloaded for a lower fee.
I’m looking forward to meeting you in cyberspace on June 28!
Cheers,
