조갑제 대표는 22일 페이스북에서 스타벅스 불매 움직임을 두고 “1933년 나치 독일의 유대인 상점 불매운동과 유사하다”고 주장했습니다. 또 요제프 괴벨스를 언급하며 정권 차원의 불매운동은 반미운동으로 비칠 수 있다고 말했습니다. 아울러 일부 직원 책임을 회사 전체로 확대하는 것은 개인 책임 원칙에 어긋난다고 비판했습니다.

On the 22nd, Mr Cho Gap-je argued on Facebook that the movement to boycott Starbucks was “similar to the boycott of Jewish shops in Nazi Germany in 1933”. He also mentioned Joseph Goebbels, stating that a government-led boycott could be perceived as an anti-American movement. Furthermore, he criticised the practice of holding the entire company responsible for the actions of a few employees, arguing that this contravenes the principle of individual responsibility.
