💟은혜를 원수로 갚지 말자 - 💔가축과 꿀벌까지 보내준 미국에게 이러면 되나요

누가 누구를 대한민국에서 잘살게 해주었으며, 특히  미국가서 공부하고 돌아와 정계, 재계, 사회에서 떵떵 거리고 잘살고 있는 주제에
청국이 병자호란이후 500 여년. 그후 청일전쟁에 일이 이긴후36년을 전승자로서 우리를 어떻게 살게했었는 지를 아는자들아. 그렇다면 미국의 전승으로 거저 얻은 해방에 독립에 미국이 무엇 을 뺏아갔으며 무엇을 등처 먹던가? 그런중 제힘으로 해방과 독립을 얻어내지도 못한주제에 동족끼리 전쟁 때 미국등16개국의 재산과 목숨바처 지켜준나라들이 도와줘 잘살게 해준 주국 미국을 그렇게들 못잡아 먹어 안달 복달인지 읽어 보고 답하라.
특히 미국에서공부 하고 돌아 온 그 그루터기로 잘 살고있는자들 부터말해보라

밥 숟가락 놓는 그 날까지, 검은 머리 짐승은 거두는 것이 아니다라고 하는말이 있는데

6.25 전쟁에 우리 민족이 미국으로 부터 받은 은혜는 말로 다 표현할 수없습니다. UN을 통해 군대를 보내 주었고, 16개국이 한국에 올 때, 그리고 전쟁 중 발생하는 모든 비용을 미국이 다 부담 했습니다.

뿐만 아니라, 피난민 구호를 위해 엄청난 식량과 의복, 의약품등을 공급해 주었습 니다. 그런데 필자가 전에 몰랐던 한 가지 사실을 최근 알게 되었는데, 6.25 사변 중, 미국이 한국에 가축과 꿀벌을 보내 주었다는 사실 입니다.

미국에서 한국으로 가는 수송선에 전쟁 물자가 가득 실려 있었는데, 엉뚱하게도 카우보이 모자를 쓰고, 가죽 부츠를 신은 카우보이들이, 한국으로 가는 동물들을 돌보고 있었습니다.

이 수송선에는 한국으로 보내는 젖소, 황소, 돼지, 염소 등 약 3,200마리의 가축이 실려 있었습니다. 이 가축들은 미국의 비영리 기관인 Heifer Internationa이 한국에 보낸 것인데, 이 가축들을 돌보기 위해 카우보이들이 승선(乘船) 한 것입니다.

이들 카우보이들은 약 7주간의 긴 항해 기간 동안 동물들을 돌보았는데, 산더미처럼 밀려오는 파도에 멀미를 하고 나자빠져 있는 동물들을 돌보고, 끼니마다 무거운 건초 더미를 날라다 주었으며, 물을 공급해 주었고, 병든 동물을 돌보아 주어야 하는 힘든 일도 감당하였습니다.

무엇보다 수천 마리가 수시로 쏟아 내는 배설물을 치우는 것 또한 보통 고역이 아니었습니다. 이렇게 1952년부터 1976년까지 총 44회에 걸쳐 약 300여 명의 카우보이들이 동물들을 한국으로 수송했습니다.

1954년에는 캘리포니아 오클랜드 공항에서 특별 비행기가 특별한 손님을 태우고, 하늘로 날아올랐는데, 이 비행기에는 약 150만 마리의 꿀벌이, 벌통 200개에 들어 있었습니다.

6.25 사변 중, 득실거리는 이, 빈대, 벼룩, 파리, 모기, 나방 등의 해충을 박멸하기 위해 하늘에서 비행기가 DDT를 마구 뿌려 이런 해충들은 거의 박멸되었지만, 동시에 나비, 꿀벌까지 죽어, 화분을 옮기지 못해 거의 모든 과일과 작물들이 열매를 맺지 못했습니다.

이에 따라 미국에서 벌꿀 수송 작전을 벌려 꿀벌 150만 마리를 한국으로 수송했습니다. 비행기는 보통 고도 8∼9,000피트 인데 반해, 이 꿀벌들은 사람들과 달라서 일반 비행 고도의 절반 정도인 4,000피트로 운행하였습니다.

이 비행기는 요즘 같은 점보 비행기가 아니었고, 꿀벌 수송을 위해 비행 거리 2∼3,000Km의 중형 프로펠러기였습니다. 미국에서 한국까지 오는데, 이곳저곳에 기착을 해야 했고, 비, 눈, 얼음 등이 조종사의 시야를 가리는 어려움을 극복하며, 3박 4일간 고난의 여정을 마치고, 한국에 무사히 도착했습니다.

Heifer International은 여러 동물들을 한국으로 이송하는 이 프로젝트를 ‘Operation of Noah's Ark for Korea'(한국을 위한 노아의 방주 작전)라고 명명(命名) 하였습니다. 짐승을 싣고 가는 배(항공기)라 ’노아의 방주‘라는 이름을 붙인 것입니다.

과거 우리가 몰랐던 6.25 사변 때, 미국으로부터 받았던 귀한 선물들을 생각하면, 과연 미국이 없었다면 오늘 남한이 그리고, 미국에 살고 있는 약 200만의 한국인, 전 세계에 나가 살고 있는 수백 만 명의 한국인들이 지금같이 평온한 삶을 살 수 있을까를 생각해 보면, 고마운 마음을 금할 수 없습니다.

특히 모든 미국 교회가 전쟁으로 고통 받고 있던 전쟁 고아, 전쟁미망인, 장애인, 굶어 죽고, 병들어 죽어 가는 가련한 사람들을 위해 사랑의 선물을 그리스도의 사랑과 함께 보내 준 사실을 결코 잊어서는 안 될 것입니다.

전쟁의 와중에 젖소를 보내 젖을 짜서 엄마 잃은 어린 것들에게 우유를 먹이고, 돼지나 염소를 길러 고기를 먹게 하였을 뿐만 아니라, 꿀벌까지 보내준 나라는 오직 미국밖에 다른 나라는 없습니다.

다른 사람들은 몰라도 우리 모든 그리스도인들은 6.25 전쟁의 고난 속에서 그리스도의 사랑을 베풀어준, 미국 교회와 교인들, 그리고 일반 시민들에서 받은 은혜를 결코 잊어서는 안 되겠습니다. 짐승도 은혜를 잊지 않고 보답한다지 않던가요?

“검은 머리 짐승은 거두는 것이 아니다."라는 말이 항상 옳지 않다는 사실을 입증해야겠습니다. 글을 받은 저도 새로운 사실에 감격 했읍니다 !

Words cannot describe the grace that our people received from the United States during the Korean War. The United States sent troops through the United Nations and covered all costs incurred when 16 countries came to Korea and during the war.

In addition, they provided tremendous food, clothing, and medicine to help refugees. But I recently learned one thing I didn't know before: During the Korean War, the United States sent livestock and honeybees to Korea.

The transport ship from the United States to South Korea was loaded with war supplies, and the cowboys in cowboy hats and leather boots were taking care of the animals going to South Korea.

The ship carried about 3,200 livestock, including cows, bulls, pigs, and goats, which were sent to Korea. The livestock was sent to Korea by Heifer Internationala, a non-profit organization in the United States, and cowboys 乘船 them to take care of them.

The cowboys tended to the animals for about seven weeks, taking care of the animals that had been sickened by the mountains of waves, transporting heavy piles of hay at every meal, supplying water, and taking care of the sick animals.

Above all, cleaning up the excrement that thousands of animals pour out from time to time was also not a common struggle. In this way, about 300 cowboys transported the animals to Korea 44 times from 1952 to 1976.

In 1954, a special plane flew into the sky with a special guest at Oakland Airport in California, which contained about 1.5 million honeybees and 200 hives.

During the 6.25 incident, planes sprayed DDT from the sky to exterminate the fluttering pests of bedbugs, fleas, flies, mosquitoes, and moths, which were nearly eradicated, but at the same time, butterflies and honeybees died, and almost all fruits and crops failed to bear fruit due to inability to move pots.

As a result, the U.S. expanded its honey transport operation and transported 1.5 million honeybees to Korea. Airplanes typically have an altitude of 8-9,000 feet, while these honeybees are different from humans, so they traveled at 4,000 feet, about half the altitude of a normal flight.

This wasn't the jumbo plane it is today, it was a medium-sized propeller with a flying distance of 2 to 3,000 km for honeybee transportation. I came from the United States to Korea, and I had to make stops here and there, and I arrived safely in Korea after a difficult three-night, four-day journey, overcoming the difficulties of rain, snow, and ice blocking the pilot's view.

Heifer International has named the project Operation of Noah's Ark for Korea, which is to transport several animals to Korea. It is named Noah's Ark, which is a ship that carries animals.

Considering the precious gifts we received from the United States during the Korean War that we did not know in the past, I can't help but feel grateful when I think about the two million Koreans living in the United States today and millions of Koreans living all over the world can live a peaceful life like now.

It should never be forgotten that all American churches, especially, have sent the gift of love with Christ's love for war orphans, war widows, disabled people, starving to death and dying sickly.

The United States is the only country that has milked cows during the war, milked young things that lost their mothers, raised pigs or goats to eat meat, and sent honeybees.

All Christians, as others may know, must never forget the grace that we received from the American churches, believers and ordinary citizens who gave us Christ's love in the hardships of the Korean War. Didn't the beast not forget the grace?

I have to prove that the phrase "Black-headed beasts don't always come away" isn't correct. I was thrilled with the new fact when I received it!

We must never forget America's grace forever!
