기억을 위하여
/이해우

낮에는 잠을 자다
밤이면 반짝이는

지나간 기억들은
밤하늘의 별이구나

저 별들 하나하나가
내가 올린 삶이었지

끝까지 버티지 못한
조각난 기억들이

새하얀 빛을 내며
어둠으로 사라진다

내 맘은 흐려졌지만
세상은 조금 밝아졌다

Take a nap during the day
Glimmering in the darkness

Recollections from the past
The night sky is full of stars

Each and every star
Had a role in my existence.

Broken recollections
that failed to endure to the very end
fade into the night
in a halo of white

The world seems brighter,
even though everything is still murky in my heart.
